No, he genuinely feels this way. He's been very consistent in his opposition to jihad. Unlike most gays, Nova recognizes that Islam isn't conducive to his plans for continuing to draw breath. It's one of the few areas of agreement that he shares with the majority of us here.

Even though 4 American civilians lost their lives in the Libya attack (and I am not discounting those lives at all), it does seem that ultimately, they end up killing more of each other than of us.
