Nova isn't anybody's idea of a conservative (except maybe for Wei, who come to think of it, hasn't been around in a while), but he's right on this issue.
Only because there are more of them over there than there are of us. It's the lack of opportunity, not the motivation.
It's a candy mint and a breath mint. Or, to put it another way, it's an imperialist political doctrine with religious justifications. If it were just a religion, whose laws only governed the conduct of believers, like every other religion in the world, this would not be a problem. But Sharia law doesn't just govern Muslim conduct, it also governs the conduct of non-Muslims throughout the world. The riots and protests over burnt Qur'ans, cartoons and YouTube trailers are attempts by Muslims to impose their definition of blasphemy on the rest of the world and force compliance with Sharia through violence and intimidation.
