    It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

    That is very true. However some go into the world to fleece every creature who is not discerning enough ask the right questions.

    Then again this guy may be on the up and up and I shouldn't be spectulating.

    I get the feeling it is probably the band. With that said, I haven't seen a tent revival in probably a little over a decade. Went to one when I was 13. Didn't understand the talking in tongues part. And it was humid as shit. It was regular church from there on out.

    Not anymore no. Grew up down there and saw them all the time for about 5 years. Then they just seemed to disappear. Guess I wasn't looking in the right places...

    I've never been to a tent revival, being a white Yankee and all, but when the black churches around here have them, they are all about gospel music, preaching and BBQ.
