My mom, sister and brother got to meet him after a show in his dressing room quite a few years ago. It was part of a surprise for my mom.

We used to watch his tv show when I was a kid. He had a lot of kid friendly acts on his show, like the Osmonds and the Jackson 5. Most of all, I remember the sketches in which he dressed like a bear who sold GS cookies. Good, wholesome, family viewing.
A friend of mine also reminded me about his ex-wife killing that skier. Andy had nothing to do with it, but his name was besmirched during the whole scandal.
Andy sang "Moon River" better than Audrey Hepburn did (in "Breakfast At Tiffanys").
