My New Romney Sign

Here is the new Romney sign I put in front of Casa De Gator this afternoon after a quick trip to the Republican HQ in town.

Wish we could put one up. Our development bans all signs. I'd put it up anyway, but I'm on the board. By the way, that's a very attractive house, not the usual Florida architecture.

It will. This neighborhood is probably 90% Romney.

You must live near my dad. He lives in Rotonda West, near Englewood and
Punta Gorda. He tells me that most of his friends from Michigan also live in the area, along with some people from Ohio and Canada.

I live in the Old Ortega area of Jacksonville where there is lots of old money and conservative thought. Just four blocks from my house there are houses on the river that run in the 6 to 12 million dollar range. These people are definitely not Obama supporters. I went for a walk down to the river the other night and there are quite a few Romney signs and no Obama signs (at least that I saw).

I've seen a few Romney signs. Definitely more Obama signs, but also at least one Romney sign in front of a house that had an Obama sign last time around.
