I cannot take credit for it. Tom Kratman came up with it in his book, "A Desert Called Peace." It's a great read, especially if you want to see how the War on Terror ought to be fought.

I think it's inevitable that the blind sheikh will be released in light of the fact that the youngest AQ terrorist that was in Gitmo was just sent back to Canada. He was 15 when he was first locked up.

Last Western detainee at Gitmo returning to Canada

He was 15 when caught? He might have been cooperative in interrogation. Considering who his father was, he might have had some very valuable information. The release might be a reward for his cooperation, for all we know.

There is a big difference between letting a guy who was 15 when apprehended go after 11 years and letting the mastermind of the first WTC attack free. Every single official has flatly denied that there are any plans to let the blind sheik go free.

According to the article, Canada is going to keep him incarcerated I think. It also says there's still 166 inmates at Gitmo, more than I thought.

Save the taxpayers a fortune and send Lynne Stewart instead. Same beard, so they won't know the difference.

Nah. We should lock her in a cell with Michael Moore.

I think that would fall under the Constitution's definition of cruel and unusual punishment.
