I remember the old days when the Cards were in St Louis. Then they called them the "Cardiac Cardinals". Bill Bidwell was one of the most hated people in St Louis. Most of the people had stopped supporting the team and weren't all that unhappy when they left town. When the Rams came and won the Super Bowl, all was football euphoria in St Louis----til the Rams resumed their losing ways.
Haven't been following football this year. I've heard the Rams aren't as bad as they have been, but then they have no where to go but up.
NJ, good luck with your Cards. I still can't figure out your connection with the Cards over the years.

I quite literally picked them out of the newspaper 150 years ago. But I've been as loyal a fan as there ever was until the past few weeks. The coach has got to go because his ignoring the offensive line is biting him in the tail right now. As for the St. Luis Cards, I actually flew out for a game in 1987. Saw one of the greatest comebacks in history. Down 28-3 to the Bucs in the 4th quarter, the Cards stormed back with 28 unanswered points in a span of about 8 minutes to win the game.

They are on an 8 game losing streak. From 4-0 to 4-8. Ouch.

And the Texans are 11-1. If the refs had shown up at a couple of those games they would be at best 9-3.

Welp, all is right with the world. Cards have since rung off 9 straight losses including the worst loss in franchise history(which is saying something considering the franchise has been active since 1895) against Seattle 58-0.

No worries. The Lions were there to help Arizona feel better about themselves today.
In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.
In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.
