This fall every one of the top 4 networks is to have at least one show that features the gay.

GLAAD has been busy. The rest of us fight back.

You could have fooled me, but then maybe they simply group the black sitcoms and it just looks like TV is about 50% black.

I wonder if they count cartoon characters as well?

Perhaps the most ridiculous thing about this is that Glee has straight male characters.
Dude, there have been gay cartoon characters since cartoons were invented. Tweety Bird is pretty gay. Huckleberry Hound and Snagglepuss definitely were gay. Bugs Bunny was a transvestite and Elmer kept falling for the act, over and over again.

I was wondering if they were counting gay or gayish cartoon characters in the count of gays on TV.

BTW, I maintain that the longest running gay characters on TV were Fraser and Niles; masked as straight brothers perhaps, but if you didn't know they were brothers then you would be certain that they were a stereotypical gay couple. IN fact, the TV show itself had an episode in which a gay man couldn't believe that Fraser and Niles weren't gay.

The gay conspiracy, eh. You libtards would be funny as hell if you weren't so dangerous to our culture.

You would be a lot happier if you weren't worried about stupid things like how many gay characters are currently being portrayed in prime time, and could find it in yourself to laugh at the thought that animated animal characters might be gay.

If you think that the likes of Chuck Lorre care about anything other than the profit or loss from these programs, then you are a fool. Look at daytime TV; a collection of some of the dumbest crap ever recorded on video. Judge This and Judge That, Jerry Springer, Jerry Springers former henchman, a collection of real or fake doctors talking about everything from dysmenorrhea to favorite recipes. Cable news programs where whiny little journalism majors mangle the English language and be clever for each other.

With the exception of great programs like Upstairs Downstairs, Downton Abbey, Lock-Up and Family Guy- the only agenda that television programmers have is to entertain people with IQ's that would prevent them from being executed in Maryland.

Honey Boo Boo's family is all straight. Speaking of low IQ.
