#1 Kentucky restaurant closes after roadkill found in kitchen10-07-2012, 11:12 AMOpossum eggrolls, anyone?
A Chinese restaurant in Kentucky is closing its doors after health inspectors found roadkill in the kitchen.
Customers at the Red Flower Chinese Restaurant in Williamsburg, Kentucky, told local TV station WYMT they were horrified when they saw a restaurant employee wheeling a dead deer into the kitchen last week.
This after they had just finished a buffet lunch there.
"It was very disturbing," customer Katie Hopkins told WYMT. "There was actually a blood trail that they were mopping up behind the garbage can."

If they had taken it to the deer processor first, I wouldn't really have that much of a problem with it.
My mom ran over a deer once in her tiny, circa 1979 Dodge Colt. The cop who came to help her asked her if she wanted the deer. When she said no, she asked what would happen to the carcass-the cop (a Kent CO Sheriff's Officer) told her that he would double back by the scene after he made sure that she and her car got to the bodyshop, to tag it and call the clean up crew, but he guessed someone else would have picked it up by then.

It would only be safe if temperatures are under 40 and even then much of the meat from a deer is bruised and the meat is full of blood clots because it hasn't been bled right, dog meat. The difference between pigs and people is that when they tell you you're cured it isn't a good thing.

To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task?”
