Diehard Cards fan though I be, I'll be skipping game 7 and Monday night football in favor of debate number 3 on CSPAN, and the analysis afterward on FOX. I might even drop in on MSNBC from time to time.......

Looks like it, 7-0 Giants, top of the 7th....even with the shaky start by Cain, the defense has been spectacular and our bats finally woke up.
Look out Detroit...here we come.

We watched the debate, too, as had a bad feeling about tonight. Already seeing comments about the new manager not being a LaRussa. I give Metheny a lot of credit for taking the Cards this far, although very sad that they didn't get to combat the Tigers.
Funny thing, remember how a lot of the sports guys used to diss LaRussa. I guess he had to leave to be appreciated.
There's always next year, sigh.

Unfortunantly, as with all Game 7's, one team goes on and the other goes home. This time it's the Giants moving on to the World Series and not the Cards but it could have been the other way around, especially with the way Cain was pitching, but the Giant's defense and bats gave him great support
Oh and I guess I'll have to pick up one these tommorow....

It should be a good series, as long as Detroit leaves Valverde on the bench and keeps him off the mound.
I still want to see Prince Fielder step it up at bat a little more, so that not all the pressure is on Cabrera.

SR had a Cards World Series Champs shirt from last year. We have this year's wild card shirt. Good luck in the Series. I don't particularly care who wins since the Cards aren't involved. Sorry for pouting.
