What a shame, you could have gotten her autograph for Linda Numbers.
How is obama working out for you?

We've had "issues" with the last 2 hotels. Last night we got in late and found that the hotel had no internet access. The previous 6 days there was some sort of firewall problem. I could receive emails, but couldn't send anything. I wasn't sure if it was the hotel or my old computer. After our last trip (only 70 miles) to Bonita Springs, Fl, my new laptop had a screen emergency---had to replace the screen for $175. So I decided that it would be safer to bring my old workhorse Dell instead of the ASUS. I didn't want to go through the fruitless arguments with both ASUS and Amazon.

The trip was so nice. I hadn't been back to see my family in St Louis for 16 months, mostly due to health problems. I can't tell you how nice it was to see my little granddaughter for her 2nd birthday and see my almost 4 year old grandson. I already miss them so much.

We took our time travelling. We did a lot of sightseeing. Yesterday we stopped at the Kentucky Horse Farm, which was wonderful. It's in Lexington, Ky. Today we were at the Atlanta History Center, also really enjoyable. On the way to St Louis we stopped at Lookout Mountain, Ga and at the Chickamauga Battlefield.

We found out when I went down to bitch at the front desk. I about choked going to the room, as they've been doing a lot of remodeling and there was a lot of dust. Also can't see out the window as they have it sealed as they're doing a lot of work outside.

This place cost more than the others in the chain. When I inquired about it, the guy said they raised the rates since Honey Boo Boo was in town. I made some smart remark and the people in line behind me said that their kid was in the stupid Miss Macon kiddie pageant. Oops.

Always glad to hear about family visits!

    Glad you made it home.

I always have internet access and don't worry about what the hotel has.

I just use my cell phone as a wi fi hot spot, works great.

Sounds like they were just taking advantage of the free market economy.
