I heard something on the radio the other day where, I think washington? is trying to make pot legal, but put the same restriction on it as alcohol, and tax it like cigarettes.

Legalization is a common sense issue, so it's not something that either of the major parties want anything to do with.

See, just like so many other issues, instead of ridiculing pro-legalization liberals, the Republicans should just say "You're absolutely correct! A state should have the power to choose to legalize marijuana. And the Republican Party believes in state's rights!"
