#1 Pumpkin is the New Bacon?
10-19-2012, 08:29 PM
Financial columnist and trend spotter Felix Salmon declares pumpkin the new bacon in this week’s New York Magazine. But why? What could an orange gourd-like squash and a crispy piece of pig possibly have in common? Why, popularity, of course. You see, everyone likes bacon. It’s salty. It’s crispy. It’s delicious. And it has gotten really popular recently. ...
No, no it isn't.

If you can talk a liberal into thinking that pumpkin is bacon, it is no surprise they were able to fool them into voting for Obama.

Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

I hate pumpkin, even in pumpkin pie. I like roasted pumpkin seeds and that's about it.
Bacon is so yummy-I don't eat it often, but I love it when I do. Even a little bit of bacon goes a long way in flavoring other things.
