MSNBC's Matthews claims it's unconstitutional for Romney to challenge Obama

I used to watch HardBall when Chris at least pretended he was neutral but those days are long gone...

I don’t think he understands the Constitution of the United States…He’s the president of the United States. You don’t say, ‘you’ll get your chance.’

I was just flipping through my handy-dandy pocket Constitution. It didn't say anything about getting chances.

Interesting note though: When deciding how to address the president the Senate initially proposed he be addressed as "His Highness the President of the United States of America and Protector of their Liberties". Maybe that's what Matthews was thinking about.

Fortunately, the Congress comprosmised on "President of the United States".
