Of all the recommendations for good health, here is one of the most pleasant----eat chocolate in moderation. Now that nutritionists' order is one that's easy to follow. The only tough part is the "moderation" part.'
We're not talking milk chocolate here, not talking about the Reese's peanut butter cups, SR's favorites. We're talking about dark chocolate, preferably 60% or higher. The candy manufacturers are listening to these messages. I found SR's favorite Reese's pb cups at Walgreens recently---but they're DARK chocolate, not the milk chocolate.
My favorite chocolate is the Ghiradelli's squares of dark chocolate, with 60%, 72%, and the really dark 86%. What's your chocolate of choice?

Disregard the nasty anti-Romney ad at the beginning of the video. My editorial comment---hopefully women aren't that stupid to believe that vile stuff.

I go for about the 70-80. After 90 your getting into cooking chocolate. Not tasty at all.

Kit Kat, Mounds, Milky Way and others are now available in dark chocolate.
When I was younger I never cared for dark chocolate. Now I don't mind it.
A coworker gave me a bite of this:
I don't like spicy food, but this was not really spicy. So I tried it, and it was really good. I never thought I would even start to like it...I guess you don't know until you try it.
Excellence Chili is an exceptional and entirely new taste experience combining Lindt's finest aromatic dark chocolate with the well balanced spice of premium red chili.

I use dark chocolate chips in my homemade trail mix and pick up the Ghiradelli's squares, preferably the 86%.
The Mrs eats the sea salt version although I have no idea how.
Gotta find some of that chili stuff and try it.It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.

Bought a bar today and tried my first square. Unusual mix and unless it grows on me I won't be going back to the store for more. And I like spicy.
Another opinion: Dark choc Reese's? Not for me. Peanut butter needs the lighter chocolate flavor. Mars family OTOH really stands out with the dark flavor. It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
