The first National Pharmacy Technician Day (NPTD) took place on July 16, 1991 as recorded by the Congressional Record. This year, PTCB will celebrate the 22nd Annual Pharmacy Technician Day on October 23, 2012 in honor of the important role pharmacy technician's play in supporting pharmacists in the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
If you are picking up a prescription please tell the technician thank you. I hear it can be a thankless job.
