Market down. Guess whose "fault" it is...

Have you noticed the market has been tanking since..

since the polls have gotten close or show romney winning? this entire time esp during the summer.. when Obama was leading handidly the market was doing great.. Everyday i would wake up and id see the little green arrow on yahoo next to the stock ticker.

Since the polls have tigtend and some have shown romney in the lead the market has started tanking.. if you read the articles it sais "corporate profit" blah blah. yeah bullshit!! its such a coincedence that basically since the first debate the market has been doing down. If you dont believe me just go to the stock graph bar and watch the graph line and which way its going and WHAT DATE it started on!

Hey, DUmmie, just wait until you see the market climb on Nov. 7 after Romney is (hopefully) elected.

For the most part, the market is down due to poor earnings forecasts.......even Apple is advising that they won't meet their goals......

It's tough to decide what to do. I firmly believe if Obama wins, the market will tank. I've sold some stock to take a year end tax loss to keep the IRS bill down, but hopefully if Romney wins, will buy it back 31 days after it was sold. If Obama wins, I'm going to wish that we had sold more.

Apple's Kindle Killer was unveiled today, and for the most part got raspberries from the experts. The problem is, the new mini Ipad sells for more than the Kindle and there is no real way for Apple to make money after they sell it to you. Kindle, on the other hand, is sold at cost and money is made for years and years through purchases and rentals at Amazon.

Could be Apple made a marketing mistake.

I am short the market, and probably will remain short for some days to come. Looking for a correction of maybe......... 15% +- (?)

I have had some success in down markets by buying SDOW, SDS, ERY, FAZ and TZA. For right now there is no reason for me to believe the market will go back up. 3M, DuPont, McDonalds are three examples of stocks with world wide exposure who simply cannot make money. Oil down to 88$. This is bad. Many wells cannot get oil out of the ground for less than 80$.
