"Negatory". All the congress critters are out of town right now trying to get re-elected. It's just us regular residents waiting to take the hit. Could be the most fun we've had since Isabel in '03.SR ...

Preparing for a major buttfudge. My generator is all gassed up with 12 gallons of extra gas to spare so if need me I'll have power for a few days to at least keep my fridge and some lights going. I'm really praying this stays NE of land. I can handle rain and a flooded basement(been there/done that). I'm more worried about the wind and stuff flying around damaging my house. The rest is replaceable.

This was the surf today in eastern South Florida. Certainly more rough than usual...but not too bad. Swimming was not allowed.

Watching the Weather Channel. Bloomdork on a news conference thanking ODumbo for offering FEMA help ahead of the storm. Bloomdork thanked Odumbo for his offer but has declined it as NY is used to handling these types of crises. REALLY?

SLW and I took the hounds to a park right on Sarasota Bay and it was blowing like crazy but nothing too bad. The dogs loved it as the wind kept it cool.
Everyone on the NJ coast is doomed. Glad I left.
JUST KIDDING!!!! Good luck to you, sounds like a lot of power outages are in the cards...
