    but bright sun and very dry. The DRY is nice for a change...

    We still have power (knocking wood, or pixels that look like wood), and I just got another e-mail telling me that federal offices in DC are closed tomorrow. Time off is always a good thing.

    The eye is just hitting Cape May. Let us know how the DC area fares. I'm still worried about Jersey--got friends there. I know that several of them were evacuated yesterday morning.

    Coming to you live from an old WWII bunker I renovated.

    I wish. It's picking up around here. It's quite windy, that's for sure. Everything is closed/closing. No public transportation. Worst is about 2 hours away and then for about 12 hours after that.

    Delaware/Jersey shoreline is getting pummeled and skyscraper cranes are falling apart in New York. At least it's not snowing.

    I thought about canvassing tonight! Someone from the Romney campaign knocks on your door in this shit? How can you not vote for the guy? It got dark early though. I don't knock on doors after dark. Folk scare easy. Don't need to be gettin' shot. ;)
