I like a couple of Spike Lee's movies, but the man is whack.


The two movies I like: School Daze, because it actually reveals the whole light skin/dark skin issue in the african american community in a musical format, and Four Little Girls, the documentary he made for HBO about the 1963 Birmingham church bombing that killed 4 black girls who were getting ready for services.


I don't think Spike would make School Daze, now. I think he was a more honest film maker before he made it big. Black people are embarrassed about it, especially if their family treated them badly for being a darker-skinned person.

I can say with absolute certainty that 0bama created the storm to hit to take attention off Libya. Well, the attention that the Right was giving it anyway. The Left can continue to ignore it.
