Shouldn't that be ObaMayo?
Ya know, just to honor his white half?It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

I know that they are proud to make Obama/Mao connections, but really, I would think such a t-shirt is something that a conservative would wear to denounce Obama, as opposed to someone who supports Obama wearing it.
Then again, there are a lot of reasons I don't post anymore at DU.

Most of them are as ignorant of Mao as they are of Che. To them they are both just faces on a revolutionary poster. They have no idea of the truth behind either of them.

That's because they don't know how many people died during the Cultural Revolution. The title "Cultural Revolution" sounds cool, after all. Without knowing the history, I'd think of Shakespeare in the Park, or free symphony concerts for poor kids.
Mao died when I was in 6th or 7th grade, and my language arts teacher made it a point to incorporate study of his "legacy" into our lessons.
