The price remained low until the Pelosi-Reid circle jerks came into power, this was in a time when the president still allowed congress to have a share of the power in the governence of the country.
Whre the situation reached emergency proportions and the Dem congress still refused to lift the drilling moritorium Bush finally stepped in and lifted it by executive order. One of Obamas first actions was to put the moritorium back in place and once more fuel prices begin to rise.Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes
And clever in their own sight! Isaiah 5:20-21 NASB

Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.

Consider that the average price of a regular gallon of gas at U.S. pumps was $1.85 when Bush was sworn in for his second term in January 2005 and $1.84 when Obama took office in January 2009 on the promise of change, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
Adjusting for inflation, prices rose to $2.52 (Bush) and $2.53 (Obama) seven months into their terms, $2.76 and $2.71, respectively, nearly two years in and $3.27 each three years in. This month, gas is $3.85, more than a dime cheaper than at this point during Bush's second term when adjusted for inflation.
The average, through 45 months in office? Obama: $3.04; Bush's second term: $2.98.

Proving yet again how how painfully you stretch the truth to suit your narrative. O Blowhard has been the single source problem that has skyrocketed fuel prices since he infested the White House.
Why is it again that you cherry pick the length of your comparison to suit Chairman Wonderful? The way I see it, O Blowhard has prices in the mid to high three dollar range and GW had them at the $1.84 average FOR 8 YEARS! When O Blowhard gets them around $1.84 for 8 MONTHS, let me know,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.
