My favorite movie of all times is The Lion In Winter, starring Katharine Hepburn and Peter O'Toole as Eleanor of Aquitane and Henry II of England.
It's also Anthony Hopkins' first movie, he plays their unfortunate son, Richard I, and the guy who played Arthur in Excalibur plays John, the doofus son (but the one who ultimately got to be King).

Cape Fear ('62)
Notice a theme? 3 of the 4 have Iron-ass Mitchum in lead roles. The best one is in black and white. It's not how old you are, it's how you got here.
It's been a long road and not all of it was paved.

The first time I saw that movie, I was watching it with my sister and my grandparents, who expressed repulsion throughout the movie but couldn't take their eyes off of it. We had watched The Little Mermaid right before it. One of those happy Thanksgiving memories-seriously.
DeNiro was terrifying in that role. The only reason I have no nightmares from that movie is because it was so well-spoofed on The Simpsons, with Sideshow Bob as the psycho.
