We watch a couple of hours of silent movies that woman records off from some satellite station, they call it silent Sundays,. Charlie Chaplin, old cartoons some really good stuff actually.
I'm sure Linda Numbers would remember some of them.

Silent! Wow! Little before my time actually, (Yes, it is!!! ) but the cartoons would be interesting to see.

The first one was great (the one during Christmas time), the others were just okay. The original usually comes on tv during the holidays, I consider it, along with Home Alone, Christmas classics.

Home alone is so heart warming!

I still love every minute of Casablanca, every time I see it. I know, it's kinda trite, but I still love it.

Like Bok, I like Tora! Tora! Tora! and I also like Midway.

For pure film noir, I love seeing The Maltese Falcon, but I can't just watch it over and over.

Blazing Saddles still has me laugh every minute through it.

Same goes for History of the World, Part I.


I have a little bit of a new-found appreciation for both the original Star Wars and the original Raiders of the Lost Ark. Looking at them years removed causes me to have a lot of appreciation of what it took to create these movies, which were absolutely revolutionary at the time.

In the same vein, I love the original Superman and Top Gun. I'm not really a particular fan of either story line, but the filmography was very, very cutting-edge at the time.

Die Hard, without a doubt greatest action movie ever.

While I like Die Hard, and it's a very good action film, I'm afraid it loses the title of best action film based solely upon the best car-chase scene of all time in an otherwise so-so movie called To Live and Die in L.A.
