Bid for freedom: People from the states marked in red have lodged petitions asking to break away from the rest of the United States since 0bama returned to the White House.

Sounds like Zippys re-election really was a "popular" vote kinda thing. Looks like they forgot AR and AL in the pic above.

    This is very entertaining.

It would be nice if the parasitic states can be left alone. NY and NJ would have to embrace new legislature that doesn't include handouts. I doubt they'd go for it. Florida still has agricultural land that can be used to feed the state. Only states who succeed can get our exports.

And maybe if Florida were successful, some of the folks who moved here from blue states and continue their voting habits could self-deport themselves back to their blue states. Wait, the blue states are petitioning, too.

Maybe only the good folks originally from blue states like you and SR can remain, the rest should just return to their states of origin. Just kidding---about them returning, not about you and SR in the "good" category.

My family has lived in Florida for 175 years. I myself moved here 17 years ago. How about you?

Add Arizona, Alabama, West Virginia and some others to the list. And, they all have several thousand signers already. I don't know how many are registered voters/state residents or if it matters.

Regardless, even Lord O can't just agree to let a state leave, although I'm sure he'd love to let Arizona go free.

Texas has about 70,000 signatures now, almost 3 times the needed number.

Forty states now have petitions. Maybe Obama will be left with the 7 (out of 57) he visited.

Thank you for not moving to Oklahoma.
