We, at least those of us who care, set aside November 11th to honor our veterans. Truly there is no day that is not a good day to express our gratitude to anyone who has worn a military uniform in service to this country. These heroes and heroines were there when our country needed them. They are the ones who step up prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice.
Every vet I meet is a blessing. So I can’t say it enough -- Thank you!
This Veterans Day, please join me in honoring all the men and women who have given so much to keep our nation safe.

I say 'Happy Veterans Day' but am sad when thinking of those who are no longer with us whether they occupy an 8 x 3 plot in France or died in their sleep at 84. Then I must remember that we would all be truly sad if none of them had served. Gratitude to Brian Basset for that reminder.
