Someone at work asked me to look into that story, and I did. It wasn't a congressional hearing, so no enaction of law can come from it, and it took place in September of 2010' with not a peep since. I think we can all sleep tonight.

unless Obama does an end run around congress, no way in hell do the republicans allow this to pass. IMHO, most people who accepted obamacare thought someone else was going to pay (the rich paying higher taxes etc) but this idea will come out of their pockets. No way will they allow it.

I can hear the sales job now, we are investing anyway why not invest in our country, it's the patriotic thing to do, it will make America strong for our children and the government will protect and insure our investments, after all they already insure our bank accounts why not our retirement. Why it is the only sane and right thing to do, after all if the government were to fail which it will never do, we would all fail anyway.
