Christmas lights are mostly up!!!

Since we were waiting for the new freezer anyway we decided to put up the exterior lights!

We found these last year...

LOL! It's a lollipop that will be retired this year because of a major crack.

The only outside lights I have are motion detectors that help me see the bad guys.

We put ours up last weekend when it was warm, but I don't light them before Dec. 1.

I'm putting my fake tree up this weekend. I don't do outdoor lights. The radio station around here that plays Christmas music 24/7 started the week before Thanksgiving.

I bought the cutest little nativity set at Garden Ridge last week. It was fairly cheap, all wood and something the kids who come to my family party can play with and not break. The figures are kind of like the old FP "little people", the ones made out of wood, not like the new ones. There is an FP nativity set, and it's cute, but it cost twice as much as this one.

Yeah right. That thing looks charged up and ready to dispense its fury. It's also positioned at the correct spot to blow someone's nads off as they approach.
