Remember when we would put them up early, depending on the weather.
The HOA's groups here are tough. A friend put hers out early, around Nov 23rd, and her neighbor across the street, a real HOA Nazi, called her and told her it was against the deed restrictions to put the decorations up more than a month before Christmas day. My friend told her she had absolutely no intention to take them down for a couple days, then put them back up.
She asked my advice---I told her to put more up!![]()

Not putting up any here as we aren't going to be home for Christmas...heading to the mother in law's and the kids. Even if we did put some up, we are so covered in trees, no one can see us here so we'd only be putting it up for us.

I got the tree up and decorated yesterday.
It's just really hard to feel the Christmas spirit when it's 55 degrees outside and I'm considering whether I'm going to have to cut the grass this week or not.
