#1 Black pepper bacon wrapped shrimp12-07-2012, 08:28 PM
Pepper bacon...Yum! Had some of that bacon left over and my son brought me some of those giant shrimp, so I decided to put them together!
It was a marriage that lasted until I ate them!
You can do this with regular shrimp and regular bacon too.
I put the bacon in the microwave for 2 minutes on a paper towel lined plate and covered with paper towels. Take out and let cool.
Preheat oven to 425.
Peel and devien the shrimp and season with some salt and lemon juice.
Take a slice of bacon and wrap the shrimp and secure with toothpicks. Arrange shrimp on a slotted broiler pan and bake for - these took almost 20 minutes, the bacon was thick and the shrimps were huge. If you use regular shrimp and thin bacon it would probably take 10 -12 minutes.
Made a simple tomato, butter and onion sauce and spaghetti, Yummo!
Look at that bacon!
Wrap them shrimpses
