Why do Republicans hate the UN? Is it because a Democratic president helped create it? I just don't get it. What is their problem? It's more important nowadays than ever for countries to come together for the good of all. Have they always hated the UN?

How about it's turned into a collection of America Hating DUmmies???? How's that???

Perhaps it's because we know that there are more countries in the UN that want America destroyed, see iraq and afghanistan, and since there are more anti-western countries in the tyrannical organization they end up having the power to propose legislation that attacks our constitution.

By signing international treaties, the Obama administration can use the US State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress. Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to fill in the blank laws created by foreign governments.

Because something is seriously flawed with an organization that has China, Saudi Arabia and Cuba on the Human Right's Council.

For me it's not about any anti-American sentiment they have. It's simply the fact that we have our Rule of Law and an organization like the United Nations should not have any say in our day to day anything. Same goes for NATO and any other global geo-political organizations.

And, they aren't. Conflicts between totalitarian states are solved by the unflinching application of superior force. Democracies can usually negotiate their differences, if they are willing to try. Negotiations between democracies and dictatorships often resemble a debate between lambs and lions over the dinner menu.

I cant remember the last war that was between true democracies? I could be wrong but I can't remember the last one.
