A 20 year old with a kid in school has led a pretty dicey life for a few years, now. It happens, but it almost never comes out OK for all involved.

I turned the radio on. Just heard, 20 year old kid....his mother was found dead at her home in Jersey???

Turning it off again. Sporadic guessing is useless.

They are now saying he was 24 not 20. Also the woman found dead in her home was in Newtown, not NJ...reports are that it was his mother. It's also being reported that the kindergarten teacher of the class missing was his mother not the woman found in a house nearby.

His facebook page had him as an "artist".

Who knows and only once all are identified will we have any idea of any ties.

It's just wrong that this happens...and I pray for all involved...those who are now missing a family member, those who witnessed it, and those who have to process this horror.

I'm hearing possibly multiple shooters. Any credibility to that?

Prayer for all involved is probably more useful.

Listening to the radio on the way home from work, so far I got:

    * 28 total victims (so far, including one off-site)
    * 24-year old male suspect, who is dead
    * his mother was a kindergarten teacher at the school
    * she, and her class are among the dead
    * his father has been found dead at another location (not the site of the massacre)
    * possible accomplice, maybe a male sibling, in the area, who did not enter the school
    * police are attempting to locate his girlfriend, who is also unaccounted for at present.

The assumption seems to be mental illness of some sort.

The suspect who has been confirmed as dead, was 20...they misidentified him as his older brother who IS 24 who is cooperating in the investigation.
The father is not dead (according to reports now) but is cooperating in the investigation.
The mother was a teacher but apparently was not at the school...she was found dead in her home.

That is the updated according to the current news reports.

Amazing how the story can evolve in just a couple of hours...

It takes a special, twisted kind of evil to start executing kindergarteners....

And there seems to be no shortage of them in the world, which is why I generally prefer the company of my dogs.
