    I got it!
    Its an alien tool kit to adjust the angle of the dangle in the harmonic dubinator!

    Just in case you are wrong ... it could also be used to do something with a type of 19th. century heating device.

    The top tool with the wooden handle reminded me of what my grandmother used to use to open and shut the hot parts of her old cook stove.

    Marv, thats a dang hard one!! First I thought it was a bike cable adjuster, then you throw in a diagram and its got a pipe in there!

    So then I think maybe an exhaust for a boat motor, then aa hot water heater then my head exploded!!!

    I got no clue!

    D***! I shoulda known that one. I spent a year cleaning those rascals one summer and darn near killed myself with cleaning fumes.

    We were just using ordinary screwdrivers etc. No special equipment.
