Why do we call him black? He is half black and half white, yet we call all such people "black" as if their white heritage does not exist.

So you obviously don’t recognise "halvsies" is blatantly racist and ignorant?
At Coretta Scott King's funeral in early 2006, Ethel Kennedy, the widow of Robert Kennedy, leaned over to him and whispered, "The torch is being passed to you." "A chill went up my spine," Obama told an aide. (Newsweek)

Jesus, between this and the idiot DUI Checkpoint thread - you’re defining yourself as a class "A" social fucktard.

    There, I edited the posts.

This is a genuine discussion. I would love for someone to explain to me why we call people who are equal parts black and white, just "black". Doesn't it degrade their white parent?

    The actual term is: Biracial.

    Ok

So then why do all the democrats, and even the media, laud Barack as our "First Black Presidential Candidate"? Isn't that just playing into the racism when he is actually "biracial".

Oh, and how long until "Biracial" is a racist term? Probably not long.
**** Obama and **** you too.

Of course it is - and just as phoney.
