#1 Pizza and pasta = Pizza pasta bake!

Yes its a PIE not a pizza pie but a pasta pie! Pies are good. Sorry Rock...no bones!
you can use any toppings that you like!
8 Oz ziti
5 Oz sliced pepperoni
8 Oz Italian sausage crumbled
16 oz sliced mushrooms
a bunch of minced garlic (the recipe called for 1 Tbsp, I used a bunch of cloves)
2 tsp Italian seasonings or some basil,parsley, oregano and thyme.
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 28 oz can crushed tomatos
S&P to taste
1 can sliced black olives
8 oz or more of fresh mozzarella
parmesan to top with
Cook: pasta according to directions, drain
Pre heat oven on broil with rack 8\" from element
Saute: Pepperoni in a large saute pan over med-high heat until beginning to crisp; transfer to a paper towel lined plate.
Brown sausage in pepperoni drippings for about 8 mins, transfer to a paper towel lined plate.
Saute; Mushrooms in sausage drippings until browned. Add onion, garlic, Italian seasonings and red pepper flakes. Cook one minute more. Stir in tomatos and cook for 3 more minutes.
Stir in cooked pasta, sausage and olives. Layer mozzarella over casserole and top with pepperoni.
Broil casserole untill cheese is bubbly and take out of oven and eat! Oh yeah sprinkle with parmesan!
Get every body ready!

Cook sausage
Mushroom time!
Onions, garlic and seasonings
Major ingredient dump!
Assembled
Out of the oven

Oops! Went back to see entire recipe and directions ... not just looking at pics (drool) this time.
Has no crust, is a "casserole" type dish broiled in the oven. In that case, hang the carbs, and go heavy on the mozzarella! Yum!!!

I wonder how that would be if you did enclose it in a pizza crust of some sort...
I remember Pizza Hut used to have something along the lines of a baked pizza "pie", with ingredients in the middle and topped with additional crust, sauce, and cheese.
Forget what they called it, but it was GOOD!
This looks like it would be just as good a candidate for the same treatment...
