    I was passed out by 730pm last night. Still transitioning from mid shifts back to days, and I had to drive into and out of St. Louis through a blizzard yesterday, and that really took it out of me.
    In most sports, cold-cocking an opposing player repeatedly in the face with a series of gigantic Slovakian uppercuts would get you a multi-game suspension without pay.

    In hockey, it means you have to sit in the penalty box for five minutes.

    Followed very closely by freezing rain. Yesterday was not a fun day. And all of that just to find out our Daughter has a hole in her heart. It's a very tiny one and poses no risks to her, so no one needs to worry or anything.

    Asti is always a winner as long as you like sweet. The Chandon was very good, we were given a bottle as a gift and I would have it again.

    Happy New Year's everyone, although a bit late. It's still technically NY day here. I've been out of it the last 2 days. Although we had our flu shots in September, I think I managed somehow to pick up a strain not covered in that shot. This thing has been far from pleasant.
