    Another 56.2 billion dollar stimulus package.

    $80,000,000,000.00 for AIG
    $56,200,000,000.00 for another stilmulus package
    $750,000,000,000.00 for bank bailouts
    $???,???,????,???.?? for homeowners that democrats want to put in

    $886,200,000,000.00 so far.

    They just announced the stilmulus on Fox News. Robert Byrd and company.

    Where is the money coming from? When does it stop!!!

    I am not clear on what is actually proposed. I am HEARING that all of this bailout comes with strings and is partially loans and the like. Very hard to pin down the actual cost.

    IMO, if we have to do it OK. But at least let us hang the people who allowed this to happen. :)

    Maybe. Not punishing the offendiers will be worse. It sends a signal to those marginal criminals that there is no penalty and crime does pay. At the very least we have got to make these worms fearful and having to look over their shoulders.

    I don't think Congress would like to set that kind of precedent. They like not facing the consequences of their actions.

    Besides, crime does pay.

    First you will have to prove that laws were broken. Mismanagment and greed are not punishable offenses if done within the context of industry regulations. One can easily violate the spirit of the law without violating the letter of the law. It called the rule of unintended consequences.
