......................"One Of Obama's Buddies no Doubt !"--

U.S. federal agents say they have enough evidence to indict Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich for fraud and conspiracy, WBBM-TV, Chicago, reported Thursday.

station also said an indictment of Blagojevich, the first Democrat elected to Illinois' governorship in 30 years, was "not imminent."

Neither the FBI, U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald nor Blagojevich's office had any immediate comment on the report.

Fitzgerald's office said June 30, 2006, it was looking into "very serious allegations of endemic hiring fraud" in the Blagojevich administration.

Prosecutors also mentioned Blagojevich in an indictment as the intended beneficiary of at least one extortion attempt by Blagojevich fundraiser and businessmen Antoin "Tony" Rezko.

Rezko was convicted June 4 on 16 of the 24 counts against him. He awaits sentencing in October on mail and wire fraud, aiding and abetting bribery and money laundering convictions. He still faces two more trials.

The Chicago Sun-Times has reported Rezko could cut his prison time significantly by cooperating in investigations of other public figures, including Blagojevich.

I've been hearing for a month now that they're going to indict Blago in October. I don't think they'll be able to tie Obama very closely to him. Blago is extremely unpopular even among his own party.

Move over Reverend Wright, Kwame, Rezko and Ethan Winners, more room is needed under the Obama-bus.

Does Obama have any associate which isn't corrupt, anti-American or a terrorist?

He definitely has links to Obama......Obama endorsed him for re-election of Gov. of Illinois in 2006, and Blagojevich was instrumental in moving the state primary up to February 5th so Illinois can "show it's support for Sen. Obama."

He is a typical Chicago crook.
From the famous New Yorker terrorist issue:

Rahm Emanuel, a congressman from Chicago and a friend of Obama’s, told me that he, Obama, David Wilhelm, who was Blagojevich’s campaign co-chair, and another Blagojevich aide were the top strategists of Blagojevich’s victory. He and Obama “participated in a small group that met weekly when Rod was running for governor,” Emanuel said. “We basically laid out the general election, Barack and I and these two.” A spokesman for Blagojevich confirmed Emanuel’s account
Is there an honest politician from Chicago??

    Possible change of heart
Rezko talked with prosecutors, may aid probe, sources say

By David Kidwell, John Chase and Jeff Coen | Chicago Tribune reporters
    5:24 PM CDT, September 27, 2008
Antoin "Tony" Rezko, a convicted influence peddler who was once one of Gov. Rod Blagojevich's most trusted confidants, has met with federal prosecutors and is considering cooperating in the corruption probe of the governor's administration, sources told the Tribune.

Rezko's possible change of heart—after years of steadfast refusal—has sent ripples through a tight circle of prominent defense attorneys who represent dozens of potential witnesses and targets in the wide-ranging probe.

His cooperation would give prosecutors investigating the governor and his wife access to someone they have described as an ultimate political insider at the center of a pervasive pay-to-play scheme.

Rezko's trial this year laid bare a culture of scams, bribes and backroom deals stretching from City Hall to the Statehouse. It even became fodder in the presidential campaign of Democratic nominee Barack Obama, whose fundraising and personal ties to Rezko go back more than a decade.

Selling out Rod is going to become pretty commonplace soon.
