First of all its not that salty at all. The salt brings a harder boil to cook the taters faster, or so I was told!
Very few ingredients and creamy tatsy taters!

1.5 cups of table salt or 3 cups kosher salt
2 lbs of those gourmet small honey gold potatos, little red ones will do
1 stick butter
pepper

Bring a pot of water to a boil, stir in the salt, add the potatos boil for 5 minutes and turn down heat to simmer.
Simmer for 15-20 mins till taters are fork tender.
Strain and put the potatos back in the pot on low heat, add the butter and pepper. pour into a bowl and go to town! Sooo good!
