NEW YORK (WFAN) – For the first time since the Jets’ season ended in disappointing fashion with a loss against the Bills in Week 17, Tim Tebow has spoken out.

The most famous and polarizing backup quarterback on the planet told the Fox Business Network that he has no regrets about his time with Gang Green — which may or may not be finished.

“I don’t have any regrets,” Tebow told the network. “I believe everything happens for a reason. I don’t know what my future holds, but I know who holds my future, and in that there is a lot of peace and a lot of comfort.”

Multiple reports have come out indicating that the Jets would either release or trade Tebow once the season concluded. Those reports came out, however, when Mike Tannenbaum was still the general manager. Tannenbaum has since been let go, and the team is actively looking for a new man to fill his position.

Reports also surfaced that Tebow would ask to be let go in the offseason.
