#1 Davos 2013: Femen stage topless protest01-27-2013, 02:12 AM
Ukrainian protest group Femen, angry over what they perceive as sexism and male domination of the world economy, ripped off their shirts and tried to force their way into the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
They were members of Ukrainian women's rights group Femen, which has staged numerous protests of a similar ilk across Europe, including at football's Euro 2012 tournament in Poland and Ukraine where their concern was prostitution in host cities. They also staged a topless protest at Davos in 2012.
The ubiquitous and huge security force policing the World Economic Forum in Davos carried the women away, kicking and screaming.
The women, from Ukrainian feminist activist group Femen, scaled a fence and set off pink flares.
Their chests were painted with "SOS Davos," as they sought to call attention to poverty of women around the world.
They said they were protesting against male domination of big business.

If we really must have protests this is the way to do it.
