#1 Ads are gone.

Evening everyone,
Sorry for some screen jumping you may have noticed but I was removing the HTML code for our Adbrite Ads. Why???
Well I got this email yesterday...
Dear adBrite Publisher,
Over the last few weeks, adBrite and its management have been evaluating the go-forward plan for the business. Given market conditions and certain financial liabilities, in working with our lenders, we have decided to cease operations on Feb 1, 2013.
This is a difficult decision for all of us at adBrite. However, after much deliberation this seems to be the best course of action despite the impact it will have on all the employees, clients and partners who helped build this business. There will be a team in place as needed to assist with winding down. Thank you for being part of the adBrite community.
The adBrite Team
They are no more. Some Obama Recovery eh????
Now we have by no means received a fortune here at CU from the ads but they were on an upward trend. Till today anyway.
On a positive note, the system screen refreshes should be much faster!
If you can spare some $$$ for CU it would be appreciated!!! And I haven't forgotten about mailing the flags to the people who donated during the last little fund drive we had, I apologize for not getting them out but they will be going soon.
SRMay the FORCE be with you!

What? ...
You mean there's no such thing as a free lunch? Why can't we visit almost everyday and have a darn good time in here without paying for it?
Our Dear Leader Mr. O will not be pleased with you SR!
And since it gives me great pleasure to disagree with everything he espouses ... I will gladly pay my own way!
OK fellow CUers, your turn next!Last edited by ABC; 01-31-2013 at 11:12 PM.

If there is some other ad company out there, I can live with the ads. It was more to help you out more, then annoying to me. Save those blasted flashing neon green ones.

Have you thought about Amazon? Bill Jacobson over at Le-gal In-sur-rec-tion uses their widgets. So does Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit.
In case nobody was aware of it, but corporate Amazon is conservative.
