Former First Dog Barney Bush — a black Scottish terrier known for chasing golf balls and taking America on video tours of the White House — has passed away after a battle with lymphoma. He was 12.
Former President George W. Bush announced on Friday the passing of the “little fellow,” saying in a news release that “after twelve and a half years of life, his body could not fight off the illness.”

Olde-style, states' rights conservative. Ask if this concept confuses you.

Be sure to check the link. There's an oil painting of Barney shown there that was done by W. He did a good job.
And also check out some of the comments. Some of the DUmmie types can't help themselves, just have to get in their nasty little cracks at Bush. They can't be decent, but what else is new.
RIP Barney. I know too well how it hurts to lose a dog to cancer and extend my sympathy to the Bush family. They're good people.

I always liked the Christmas videos with him skittering around the White House.

I could always tell that the Bushes loved Barney.
