All you'd have to do to get McCain to vote for his own imprisonment and execution would be to tell him 'It's necessary for fighting terrorism' and the old dope would fall for it.

Lindsey and McCain are the spokesmen of the dead contingent of the GOP. Time to retire, boys, your time has passed."Our president delivered his State of the Union message to Congress. That is one of the things his contract calls for -- to tell congress the condition of the country. This message, as I say, is to Congress. The rest of the people know the condition of the country, for they live in it, but Congress has no idea what is going on in America, so the president has to tell 'em." ~ Will Rogers

Lindsey Graham, John McCain, and Mitt Romney are 3 of the biggest reasons I have been so disgruntled with the GOP. Men like Mike Lee, and Ted Cruz and Rand are some of the reasons why I still see a flicker of hope and have not left the GOP. Remember their were at least 40 more Republican's who failed to stand up and take this issue. Guys like Rubio, jumped on the bandwagon after they saw Twitter explode and understood the gravity of the poltical situation. Johnny come lately's should be met with guarded optimism. McCain and Graham have politically miscaluted.Gun Control: The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her panty hose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound - Unknown

Cheer up, you guys. Carl Levin announced yesterday that he is retiring at the end of the current term (Dec 2014).
I like Carl, but I know he is hated by conservatives.

Have you considered that by you not being a Republican that McCain and Graham are able to rise to the top of the GOP? If you're not registered Republican then you can't vote in primaries, you can't sign nominating petitions and you can't work on behalf of the Republican party on election day, other than outside. Basically you have no input into getting conservative members of the party onto ballots and into office so you may as well be a Democrat.
I imagine you are Libertarian or Independent. That's about as useless as you can be in the political process. Libertarians never win elections and I don't even know why we have a category called Independent. You may think you're making some kind of political statement by being Independent but you're really not.Be Not Afraid.
