    Today we were skype-ing with the little 4 year old grandson and 2 year old granddaughter. The little guy excused himself for a minute and disappeared from the room, appearing with a blob of something in his hand. Then the little girl came with an ecstatic look on her adorable face, obviously enjoying something.

    When I asked, my grandson said solemnly "cookie balls". He asked if I ever had one. His mommy sent me the recipes. Maybe tomorrow SR can give you the review. I thought they were delicious and easy to make. Here's to cookie balls---don't get any better. Of course the little ones probably really sold me on them.

    The payoff is they're really good for little (and big) kids.

    Cookie Balls
    1 cup old fashioned oats
    1 cup coconut
    1/2 cup chocolate chips
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1/2 cup flax seeds
    1/3 cup honey
    1 tsp vanilla

    Mix ingredients, roll into balls, refrigerate

    Wow! Sounds delicious. Who wouldn't like this?

    Will try it when the grandkids come, else I would have a hard time resisting it with chocolate and peanut butter in it!

    My fav treat in the world is Reese's Peanut Buttercups, and I only ever indulge in them on special occasions.

    Damn thyroid problems!!!

    Gotta run, is my turn to make brunch!
