Hollywood actress-turned-Senate-hopeful Ashley Judd may have a harder time winning the hearts and minds of Democrats to support her campaign against Sen. Mitch McConnell after all.

Democratic Party leaders are stepping back and taking a clear look at the candidate, and some say she may not be best to run against the five-term Kentucky senator in 2014, Newsmax reports.

“She’s going to have a tough road to hoe,” said Jim Cauley, campaign manager for Democratic Gov. Steve Beshear in 2007, in a ThisWeek.com report. “She doesn’t fit the damn state,” which is a conservative stronghold. Fully 60 percent of Kentuckians voted for Mitt Romney in 2012.

Okay now wait a minute, they are saying that Americans might vote for substance rather than style, a conservative male over firm breasts and a beautiful face?
Did I wake up in a different dimension this morning?
How is obama working out for you?

The mid-terms mark officially when Obama starts having the "lame duck" monicker attached to him...Ashley Judd just LOVES her some Obama...the Dems that will be there after 44 is gone don't want someone running that can be associated with O 6 years from now when they are still trying to win elections and he's on the beach in Hawaii.

The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

When Fred Thompson ran for office, you closed your eyes and the image you saw was folksy but no nonsense.
When Al Franken ran for office, you closed your eyes and you could see him making political commentary.
When I close my eyes and think of Ashley Judd, I see a pregnant yahoo living in the Walmart. It isn't correct, it isn't right, and it isn't fair but it is what it is. Moreover, I don't think that the people of Kentucky will consider her stay in rehab to be the badge of honor that it is in her native California.

Judd wouldn't have a chance to win if she was running against a goat. Mitch McConnel would mop up the floor with her. He would rip her Hollywood drivel moon bat liberal brain dead stupidity apart. I would love to see them in a debate. She would look like a total fool ...

This just shows how much the Democratic Party has changed. When Teddy Kennedy and Chris Dodd were in the Senate and Bill Clinton was in the White House, they'd have loved to get Ashley Judd onto the senate floor.

She shouldn't start out running for Senate. She should try running for something like state legislator, and get started out in politics before running against a multi-term incumbent for the Senate.

The beating would be so bad the cops would arrest Mitch for battery.

She probably thinks she can pull an Al Franken off. Which is she lost, she would do an Al Franken and hold it up in court for months until they gave up and just gave it to her.
