While many of you may remember him for his film work, I will remember Paul Newman, the automotive enthusiast. He owned a very successful CART/Champ Car/IndyCar team since 1982, and had drivers such as Mario and Michael Andretti, Nigel Mansell, Paul Tracy, Christian Fittipaldi, Cristiano Da Matta, Sebastien Bourdais, Justin Wilson, and Graham Rahal. Paul was one of the "good guys", and a true gearhead all the way until the end. RIP Paul, now take some hot laps at the big speedway in the sky....:(

RIP, Paul. :(
Dennis Miller had a great line about Newman and his social activism. Couldn't find it on the google. Something about how he kept it quiet and did it the right way.

One of my all time favorite Newman movies was Winning.
There were a lot of real "racers" in it
