Chavez was a socialist who sought to impose involuntary membership in labor cartels on workers throughout the United States. Before you can do things for people, you must be the kind of man who can get things done. But to get things done, you must love the doing, not the people!

Hold on a sec...are you actually saying that from an historical perspective you don't believe that a man named Jesus Christ walked the earth 2,000 or so years ago?

Another way of looking at that would be that farm labor was expressly exempt from a lot of labor and wage laws as well as workplace rules. After all, Mr. Roosevelt, who gives a crap about the blacks, Mexicans, and poor white trash? It's still no cake walk, but at least they are guaranteed minwage, breaks, and toilets. Shame on those selfish people. Meanwhile, you and NJCardfan bitch and moan if you have to pay $5 more in co-pay.

I said that there were no contemporary accounts.

There were reportedly a number of people claiming to be the messiah, and women claiming to be virgins giving birth. IF you want to pick one and say , "Oh, that's the real one." I have no objection. However, the fact that neither Rome nor Herod recorded any of the events of the Biblical life of Jesus is rather damning. Surely this isn't news to you.

OK, so you're in the "Christ Myth" crowd. Just checking.

Historians, whether secular or Biblical, all acknowledge that the Gospel accounts of the man named Jesus Christ did, in fact, exist.

Simply put, the guy described in the Gospels that was born, walked around and preached a lot and told everyone to love God and love their neighbor, who was subsequently crucified on a cross for the simple act of saying such things...was real.

Stay in the lunatic crowd if you want but He existed.

So Herod went around and killed all male children ages 1 year old and younger why exactly?

I have over 12,000 posts. You have until the end of the day to find one where I complained at any time since 2008(when I joined this board) where I even made mention of what my co-payment is and that I consider it unfair in any way. Or Ody for that matter. You must then quote that to where we all can click on the direct link to see said quote. If you can't, you should be banned or at least you should be made to admit you're nothing but a feckless troll. I'll be home sometime after 10PM and I await your response. If not, I'm calling you out in the Dome.

On the same subject, to the mods, why do we allow this person to make such false accusations without being banned?
