"Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" Not the longest in English, much less German.

There are longer ones. The longest in current use is the name of a law on the labelling of beef: Rindfleischetikettierungsberwachungsaufgabenbertra gungsgesetz. Don't try to say it all at once, as it can cause paralysis of the tongue. It's not, however, the cause of pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, which is a lung disease caused by inhalation of silica particles. I'm sure that it would be even longer if translated into German.
