Damn, I usually know about these things before anyone else. This one wasn't even on my radar."Our president delivered his State of the Union message to Congress. That is one of the things his contract calls for -- to tell congress the condition of the country. This message, as I say, is to Congress. The rest of the people know the condition of the country, for they live in it, but Congress has no idea what is going on in America, so the president has to tell 'em." ~ Will Rogers

eta - The lack of vertical surfaces is clearly a stealth 'Feature,' however it was also the aerodynamic failing of the Horten-designed Luftwaffe flying wing fighter to which the B2 owes so much. One of the prototype Horten jet fighters crashed due to inability to recover from a spin when it lost an engine and couldn't recover from the resulting spin. Fly-by-wire works great and totally outperforms humans when it works right, but even computers have to have some surfaces to work with. Seems like its instability in yaw would be challenging for even the most advanced control systems to handle.
